About BLDXY

A digital lab for material intelligence.

BLDXY is an independent digital lab for building material information. Starting in the Middle East and working toward a global reference, we organise the evidence behind materials so that architects, engineers and construction teams can make better-informed decisions.

BLDXY is short for Build XY. Our digital address, bldxy.com, was registered in June 2024.

Clear records. Traceable evidence.

We bring material descriptions, manufacturer data sheets, applications and referenced standards into a consistent record. Our review framework highlights missing documentation, conflicting values and unsupported claims. When information is unavailable, we make the gap visible.

Our focus connects performance with execution and sustainability: availability, installation, durability, maintenance, resource use and environmental evidence. The aim is to reduce the uncertainty that allows misleading claims and undocumented substitutions to enter projects.

An independent, developing reference.

Documentation guides our editorial decisions. A listing is a reference record, not a product endorsement. Records are developed progressively, with unresolved information identified for review. Our work centres on digital documentation and analysis; product testing and certification remain with the relevant specialist bodies.
